Now that I have removed the logoff ability, I need to find a way to logon the machine as admin without having to undo the gp settings every time. Being that I'm attached remotely, I don't really want to try to boot holding shift. Anybody know of a way I can logoff and logon using command line? Any other suggestions are appreciated. Once you expand the folder there will be profiles with the names as number. When you open each one up the path key points to the actual user profile name. If you simply remove everything after the username it will revert to the normal profile at next login. As I think the problem is with resource hungry Avast I want to uninstall it.

However I can not do this from the subsidiary User account. Try booting into safe mode press f8 once a second after computer is powered on. You should be able to log in as administrator then. If you are unable to uninstall it in safe mode, just configure it not to run at startup. Reboot, then uninstall if necessary once you get logged back in. Actually if you can get into safe Mode then we can fix it. Sometimes the act of entering Safe mode alone will allow Wiindows to fix itself.

But if you do get into Safe mode then run Disk cleanup select all boxes. Then try a boot to Normal mode! Similar threads J. Xiaomi to produce , EVs a year in new Beijing factory starting in Replies 9 Views Dec 2, Puiu.
